A PROGRAM FOR EVERY PLAYER

We are proud to offer programs that meet players at every level of ability, commitment, and interest. Whether an athlete is just beginning their journey or striving to compete at the highest level, there is a place for every player to grow, contribute, and succeed.

Central to that structure is getting team formation right. Thoughtful team placement is critical not only for team success and camaraderie, but for the long-term development of each individual player. We are intentional about avoiding placements that overwhelm players. Confidence matters. At the same time, we believe in pushing athletes to develop strong habits, resilience, and an excellent work ethic so they can reach their full potential — not just as players, but as people.

Participation in team formation events is essential to this process. These events allow our coaching staff to evaluate players thoroughly and make informed, responsible decisions. We also strongly encourage families and athletes to engage in direct conversations with our coaches about expectations, goals, and fit within the program.

When done well, team formation creates the foundation for a positive experience where players feel confident, challenged, and inspired to grow within a team environment that is right for them.

UNDERSTANDING THE SHIFT TO SCHOOL-YEAR TEAM FORMATION

Youth soccer across the United States is transitioning from birth-year calendar team formation to school calendar (August 1 to July 31) team formation. This change is intended to better align club soccer with the academic calendar and allow players to compete alongside their school peers. You can read more about the national decision by clicking the button below.

One of the primary benefits of this shift is that it eliminates the challenging spring transition that affects spring competition by teams made up of both 8th graders and freshmen. Under the birth-year model, teams often lose a significant portion of their roster in the spring when freshmen leave to participate in high school soccer. This creates roster disruptions and continuity challenges for this age division across the state. Moving to school year team formation allows teams to remain intact throughout the club year, providing greater stability for players, coaches, and families.

As we align with this national change, 2026 team formation may look somewhat different. However, as a club, we will not dictate the level at which your player must compete. If your athlete prefers to “play up” in order to remain with their current team or peer group, you may choose to do so. We simply ask that you communicate your preference during the registration and team formation process so we can plan appropriately.
