Introducing young players to soccer early helps them build comfort on the ball, develop coordination, and establish strong training habits from the start. Just as importantly, being part of a team teaches them how to work with others, listen, and grow in a positive, structured environment.

UNIFORM KITS

402 Development Academy is proud to be an adidas club. All official team uniform kits are sourced through Soccer.com via a dedicated club ordering portal.


Uniform costs are not included in the player fees outlined for the program. Players are required to purchase one light kit, one dark kit, and two training shirts. The total cost for required items is approximately $275. Additional optional items — including branded bags, warm-ups, and spirit wear — are also available through the same Soccer.com portal, but are not required for participation.

TEAM FORMATION

We do not cut players at the Academy level. At this stage, there is significant development ahead for every athlete, and our goal is to provide each player with the opportunity to grow. We thoughtfully form teams based on similar abilities and experiences to ensure your child is placed in an environment where they can develop, build confidence, and fully benefit from their experience at 402 Development Academy.


REFUND POLICY

Our Academy program is designed to provide a consistent, high-quality experience for young players throughout the full soccer year (August 2026 through May 2027). When a player accepts a roster spot, that position is reserved specifically for them, and planning for teams, coaching, and programming is based on those commitments.


For this reason, registration represents a commitment to the full soccer year, and program fees reflect the cost of providing services across the entire season. Fees are not refundable or transferable once a player has accepted a spot and completed registration.
